You Foolish Galatians

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a new gospel. . . For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. . . If you being a Jew live like the Gentiles and not like the Jew, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like the Jews?. . . You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?. . . However, at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?. . . It was for freedom that Christ set us free. . . You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?. . . For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. . . But if you bite and devour one anohter, take care that you are not consumed by one another. . . If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another. . . For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
