Talking with a friend recently, she referred to someone as still being on their new believer "high."
I knew exactly what she was talking about.
I remember that high.
And what shocked me was not what she said.
But that in our lives there is a distinction between where we are now and where we were in the Lord during those first days with our Savior.
Is the fact that He took my sins on Himself and clothed me with His righteousness any less astounding today than it was all those years ago?
. . .and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all!
